Join the Circle of Friends for The Dorothy Ley Hospice, a great series of events that combine friendship, food and fund raising. The Circle of Friends is held in partnership with Cirillo's Culinary Academy.
Appetite for Opera - Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this evening, not only a terrific event, but helped to raise close to $12,000 after expenses. It was a perfect evening that blended fine dining, great wines and opera with lots of laughter and camaraderie.
A special thank you to John and Margit Cirillo for the wonderful food, Select Wines for the wine along with the Kingsway Conservator of Music, Douglas Tranquada, Catherine Carew, Christopher Mayell, Maika'i Nash, and Charlene Santoni for our musical entertainment.
Please enjoy pictures from the evening.

The "Doves" is a special two-month campaign that is the Hospice's single largest fundraising event. It engages more than 150 volunteers each year to help raise funds for the Hospice's Day Program. Decorative holiday trees are located in community locations such as Cloverdale Mall, and local schools and businesses. People can place their memory or message of hope on a special holiday dove and then place it on a tree. A holiday celebration for volunteers and a direct mail campaign are also part of the regular line-up of activities.
