The Dorothy Ley Hospice is a volunteer-based community hospice with more than 300 volunteers, trained and supported by professionals.
Any individual living with a life-limiting illness who is 16 years of age or older can access hospice support. Members of their families or others who have suffered or anticipate a loss can also access complementary supports.
Our services are offered primarily in people's homes, but also in hospital, care facilities and other settings. We meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and support needs through needs assessment, in-home visiting, day program, spiritual care, bereavement care, and referrals to additional service providers. End-of-life care at The Dorothy Ley Hospice embraces more than the needs of the palliative individual. It extends to the entire family.

If you have any questions, we will be happy to provide an assessment of your needs and, if we are unable to help you, we can put you in touch with the most appropriate service provider.
