The Dorothy Ley Hospice Palliative Care Centre

Demand for palliative care in our community is growing at a rapid pace.  To serve this need, the new Dorothy Ley Hospice Palliative Care Centre was opened in February 2009.  The Centre provides a permanent home for our community-based programs and services and will enable us to expand and enhance the care we provide.  A key feature of the Centre is the 10-bed Residential Care Suite where we will offer 24-hour care to more than 150 people each year in a home-like setting.  

The new DLH Palliative Care Centre was opened in February 2009.  You can see how construction progressed on the project prior to opening here.
